Summary:
BIOTrain’s
Green Belt Process I continuing education
course delivers instruction on the fundamental
of process improvement in a biotechnology
setting. “Green Belt” is a term used to
describe moderate proficiency in process
improvement based on Six Sigma principles.
Yellow belt and green belt certifications are
based standard industry criteria.
In this class the student will learn the principles of Six Sigma and the role of the Green Belt in the Six Sigma organization. The training will describe, in introductory format, the methods, techniques, and tools of Six Sigma, and the advantages and disadvantages of such a system. The student will learn what is involved in the process of Green Belt training and certification.
Upon completion of the course, students will
be able to:
• Describe Six Sigma and
why it is used
• Describe lean six
sigma
• Understand how Six Sigma
relates to the FDA's system
Process
Analytical Technology (PAT) through
the measurement of Critical Process Parameters
(CPP) which affects Critical Quality Attributes
(CQA).
Two six-hour sessions will give you a detailed understanding of quality systems, why they are important. Graduates of the course will receive a Certificate of Course Completion from Montgomery College.
