Service Level Agreement (SLA) becomes a critical component of the entire contract between Information Technology Service Provider and Customer. Service-Level Requirements (SLR) are critical to develop a sustainable SLA. In the Database World SLR will determine technical enterprise architecture needed to satisfy such requirements. The presentation will discuss SLR to Highly Available Databases on example of Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture. Multiple Database High Availability Architecture solutions can be used to address specific SLR.

 Michael Chapiro has more than 25 years of experience in Software development and support. He has extensive knowledge in the field of Database Distributed Systems development, and sustaining engineering. Michael Chapiro is the founder and the principal consultant of SolutionsDiscovery.com.

He worked for such World-Class companies as CSC, BOEING, SERCO, Cyber and others. As a consultant, Michael Chapiro provided his expertise and services to such clients in the Public Sector as NASA, DHS, PBGC, Census, DOE, IRS, etc.

He worked on multiple commercial projects as well, providing support for such companies as Anheuser Busch, Ford, CISCO, Barclays and many others. Michael Chapiro has multiple Publications and Invited presentations, including international conferences, on different subjects of Distributed and Very large Database Systems. He is a co-author of several books, and one of them - “Oracle9i New Features”, McGrow Hill, Inc., once was a bestseller on Amazon.com.
