Presentation Overview: Many people become stagnant in their professional life as they become tenured in their roles. Training and networking becomes a thing of the past. While it can become complacent about professional development when you're employed, it is critical as everyone is a candidate, even if a passive one. This presentation will detail why people should go above and beyond to improve their skills, even if it's not required by their organization. Our speaker will talk about breathing freshness into your career to help you get excited about work and your professional portfolio.

Topics will include:

•       Setting goals for professional growth

•       Why everyone is a passive candidate

•       LinkedIn: a valuable resource

•       The benefits of volunteering and joining professional organizations

We look forward to seeing you.
