This presentation is composed of three parts: Job Application, Interview Strategies and Salary Negotiation. I will start the presentation by sharing the Hiring Process from HR’s perspective. Then I will focus Job Search Strategies and Interview Strategies. Some tips on “Interviewing to Win” will also discussed. 

When landing on a job, how to negotiate salary? Come and listen to the presentation in-person.

Marcia Liu is an experienced Recruiter for ICF International’s International Health and Development divisions, identifying and onboarding team members to support clients such as USAID, the Department of State, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. She focuses on monitoring and evaluation, population-based surveys, knowledge management across multiple disciplines including HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Maternal Child Health, Health Systems Strengthening, and Food Security. She has also been a senior recruiter for Jhpeigo (an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University), Development Alternatives International, and Chemonics.

Prior to her career as a recruiter, she served for fourteen years as Director of the Foreign Affairs Office for Sichuan International Studies University and Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economy Commission in China, where she lead efforts to promoted the school for different international programs, including identifying donors and partnerships for international exchange programs. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Policy and Practice from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from Beijing International Studies University.
