Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Exam Refresher Course  

Montgomery College, Rockville, Maryland

Location: Montgomery College, Rockville, MD.  (http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/rvhome)


Dates: The course will run 6 consecutive Saturdays starting January 19 and ending February 23.


Time: 8:00 am – Noon.


Tuition: $275 payable to ASQ 509, which is offering the course.


Course Materials: We will be using certification materials from the Quality Council of Indiana. 


Required materials for the course are:

1.      The Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) Primer - $75

2.      The CSSBB Solutions Text - $35

Optional materials: CSSBB Electronic Exam - $70

Note: Costs do not include tax, shipping and handling.


Students are to order the materials directly from the Quality Council of Indiana (www.qualitycouncil.com).  If possible, please plan to order your materials so you have them in hand by January 12.  800-660-4215 or 812-533-4215


Credit: This course does not carry CEU credit.

ASQ CSSBB Exam Information:

Dates: Exam date is Saturday, March 1.  Application deadline is January 11.

Location: Exam location is in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC.  Applicants will be notified of location and time by National ASQ.

Registration: Registration for the exam is done directly with National ASQ (http://www.asq.org/store/training-certification).

CSSBB Exam Cost: $390 for non-members, $240 for members.  Join ASQ and save!

Note: Be aware that you are required to submit a completed Black Belt project in addition to passing the exam to become certified.


Exam applicants are responsible for meeting ASQ’s certification requirements.
