Organizational culture and change management are essential considerations in any successful Lean Six Sigma program. In this presentation, we will discuss a set of guidelines used by one company to help foster a culture of quality enterprise-wide. We�ll include several examples from our CMMI High Maturity initiative that will provide Lean Six Sigma practitioners with specific tips on how to actively promote a culture of quality within their own organizations.
Mr. Ron Lear: As Booz Allen Hamilton's Corporate Quality Director, Ron leads the firm�s Corporate Quality Office, in support of over 23,000 employees across the globe. Ron is an accomplished, senior quality executive and advisor with more than 31 years of experience and is an internationally recognized leader in several key organizations:
- CMMI NextGen Sponsor, Architecture Working Group representative, and advisor
- Senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ)
- Member of ISACA and the Conference Board Quality Council
- Member of the United States ISO Technical Committee (ISO/TC 176 or TAG 176)
- Corporate representative and liaison to the American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC)
Mr. Kevin Schaaff is a Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton responsible for the system delivery of large scale IT systems. He is also a Visiting Scientist at the Software Engineering Institute. He is a certified High Maturity Lead Appraiser and Instructor, with over 30 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Project Management. His previous experience includes managing a variety of programs ranging from large Navy R&D efforts to implementing small to medium scale IT Systems. Before joining the SEI, Kevin led other organization's quality programs to SW-CMM and CMMI Maturity Level 3, CMMI Maturity Level 5 and was responsible for numerous sites being both ISO and AS9100 registered.
