You have 24 hours to prove a website does not crash when several thousand people click on the same link at the same time. What testing strategies will you use? This presentation goes over several alternatives and examines the pros/cons of each. Real-life examples will be examined, and a strategy for meeting the "emergency" situations will be offered.
Rudy Regner, is an R-Squared Systems, Inc. Testing Consultant at Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Washington DC. He holds a Master of Computer Science (MSCS) with over 30 years of experience as a consultant in software testing, mostly in aerospace industry (communication satellites) but also in finance/government web applications (NASDAQ, Fannie Mae, US Mint, OMB). Before entering the Computer Science field, he studied Philosophy, Chemistry and General Sciences, earning bachelor degrees in all three fields of study.
