Speaker Biography: John J. Guzik

John J. Guzik has been a participating member of the U.S. TAG to ISO/TC 176 for three years. As such, he has served in the roles of Task Chair, Design & Development on two occasions, active member on the US Validation Survey, and U.S. Leader on the International Validation Survey. As the principle of Impact Management, Mr. Guzik provides training, consulting and auditing services in management systems, and has directed over 105 successful ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 QMS implementations.

Presentation Overview: ISO 9001:2015, A Look Ahead

 

The presentation will provide an overview of ISO management standards and the notion of revisions, focusing on the changes to ISO 9001 in the upcoming ISO 9001:2015 standard. Specific areas that will be addressed include:

 

� Structure

� Revised Terminology

� Revised Concepts

� Retired Concepts

� New Concepts

� Transition

� Moving Forward

 

The presentation will conclude with 30 minutes for Q&A to ensure the audience has a thorough understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
