Program Summary:
What is "Quality Ignition?" It's Karaoke for Geeks! It's like a poetry slam for quality professionals. Just like Karaoke needs people from the audience to sing, we need someone, LIKE YOU, to talk about something you are passionate about. It doesn't have to be a quality topic, but we would love it if you would talk about something from everyday life and give it a quality twist. However, that isn't a requirement. The only requirement is PASSION! The goal of Ignition is to have fun, to socialize, and to share ideas in a social setting.
Would you like the chance to share that passion in a happy social setting with friends and colleagues - in a very social setting, say, a Brew Pub? Again, think Karaoke. The format: you get 20 slides in 5 minutes. That's 15 seconds per slide on a timer. That's right, only 15 seconds per slide! That's one of the things that makes Quality Ignition fun - it is fast moving and very visual. No bullet points please. We are modeling our event after PechaKucha and Ignite; two events that have taken the world by storm. Check them out.

This is a great way to practice your presenting skills or to get the word out about something you care about.
