Presentation Overview: Over the last decade, the American Red Cross Biomedical Services has made data metrics a critical part of the Quality improvement process. Kate will share how investing in data collection, analysis, and monitoring can result in tangible improvements. Communicating data results allows management to refocus and change culture that supports improved compliance profiles. Come hear our tale of ongoing evolution.
Speaker Biography: Kate Doerksen - Executive Director of Problem Management, American Red Cross, Biomedical Headquarters
Kate is an accomplished, results-oriented leader with a successful track record of building effective partnerships, developing teams and leading through change. She has served in various roles within American Red Cross Biomedical Services over the past 16 years. Kate’s academic background from University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland is in Microbiology and Biochemistry.
