Program Summary:
The key to implementing a Quality program is getting the cooperation of all stakeholders. Research shows that people are more willing to change if they their motivational needs are met positively. Quality managers also must be able to communicate their vision effectively. This presentation will explain how leaders and managers can individualize communication and motivation so that employees will want to implement a Quality program.
Speaker Biographies: Dr. Judith Pauley and Mr. Joseph Pauley
Judith Ann Pauley, PhD is the CEO of Kahler Communications (Washington, D.C.) She worked as a research chemist for the Naval Ordnance Laboratory and developed the batteries used in the anti-submarine missile system SUBROC. She also taught chemistry and physics for 42 years in colleges, universities and high schools in the United States and Asia and was named science teacher of the year three times. She currently is an Adjunct Professor at seven universities. She also has more than 30 years management and leadership experience. She is co-author of two books for educators.
Joseph F. Pauley is the President of Kahler Communications (Washington, D.C.) and the Vice President for Education of Kahler Communications Inc., headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Pauley served in the navy during the Korean War and lived in Asia for 21 years where he became an authority on communicating with and motivating people from other cultures. Mr. Pauley also has held a variety of management and executive positions in his career and is highly regarded as an improvement agent in various organizations. In all he has had more than 50 years management and leadership experience. In 1974, he received an award for his understanding of the concepts of Total Quality and his success in implementing them. He has continued to apply Quality principles as they have evolved since that time.
