Please join us at our next ISO 9000 Users Group Meeting on Wednesday, September 12th. 

"ISO 9000 and Human Dynamics: Breaking Through the Force Field"

Laura Cottingham, PMP

This discussion will focus on strategies to help overcome objectives and barriers that inhibit the effective deployment of ISO 9000 Principles.

Speaker: Mrs. Cottingham has over two decades of experience in business process improvement, diversity management, and personnel staffing, which she blends to help organizations achieve targeted results.   She has provided consultative services to Global Strategy and Technology consulting firms; military organizations, and Federal Government agencies.  Additionally, Mrs. Cottingham served as the first-ever Associate Dean of Students for the National Graduate School of Quality Management.  She has a B.S. in Management Studies and a M.S. in Quality Systems Management. She has also received 900+ hours of training as an Equal Opportunity Advisor by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI), training in Six Sigma through Villanova University and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by PMI.  Mrs. Cottingham retired from the Army after 21 years on active duty; she was awarded the Legion of Merit for her service.

The meeting will be held at our NEW LOCATION, Skanska USA Building Inc., 1801 Research Boulevard, Suite 103, Rockville, MD 20850.

The meeting will start at 5:30 pm. Attendees are invited to participate in the networking as well as the free pizza and soft drink portion of the meeting.  Advanced registration is not required.
