Topic Summary:
Overview of highlights and key events over the years that progressed "quality" as a priority.  Trends of ISO 9000, CMMI, Six Sigma, CMMI, ITIL & COBIT, Baldrige in National and Regional areas.  What to look for in the future and how ASQ is positioned to assist Quality Professionals meet the challenge.

Speaker Biography: Richard A. Litts
Richard A. Litts is the founder and president of Litts Quality Technologies, Inc.  Richard has a BSME from Lehigh University and an A.A.S. in Aircraft Design Technology from the Academy of Aeronautics.  He is an American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer and a Certified Quality Auditor.  He is a RABQSA Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor and an AS9100 Aerospace Experience Auditor. Richard is a Senior Member of the ASQ, a member of the Audit Division, the Aviation/Space and Defense Division, the Quality Management Division, the Biomedical Division and ASQ Region 5 Councilor of the Measurement Quality Division.
He was the 2001-2002 Chairman of the Philadelphia Section of ASQ and a Region 5 Deputy Regional Director 2002-2005. Richard is currently the 2007-2009 ASQ Region 5 Regional Director and serves on the ASQ Board of Directors.
