The next meeting of the ISO 9000 Users Group will be April 12, 2006, and be held at the Honeywell offices in Lanham. The meeting will start at 5:30 pm. Attendees are invited to participate in the networking as well as the free pizza and soft drink portion of the meeting.

Registration for the meeting is not necessary.

The topic of the meeting is Discussion:  ISO 9001 Certification - the Value Proposition.  There are any number of reasons why a firm makes the commitment and becomes certified. Staying certified is the challenge. And what are the trends? What are other companies doing? Are they maintaining their certifications? Are they adding certifications and other assessments? And how can we, the Users Group, better serve the membership?

Ongoing homework:  Please go to the website https://asq509.org/ and look it over. Bring your opinions and ideas to improve the ISO 9000 Users Group.

Also, we have an opening for a Vice-Chair (Programs) for the Users Group. Please email to Gene Kirsch if you are interested.
