Program Summary:
Best Practices learned from the implementation of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework in operational transformation in large ISP and telecommunications service provider.
Speaker Biography: Kirk Holmes
Kirk Holmes has 25 years of experience in technology, operations, and general management. He is President of Holmes and Associates, Inc, a management consultancy focused on IT Service Management and broadband service operators. He holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University.
Holmes and Associates clients have included Comcast, Time Warner, and other large telecommunications companies, and multiple government agencies. He began working with the ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework in 2001, when he instituted ITIL processes as part of overseeing a massive operational transformation of one of the largest ISPs in the country, likely the first ITIL implementation on the production side of a large telecommunications carrier.
