Program Summary:

Adam Shirvinski is the Recertification Chair for ASQ 509.  He will discuss all aspects of the Recertification Process and answer any questions you may have including earning Recertification Units, combining Certifications for recertification submission, time period for submission and documentation requirements for each section of the Recertification Journal.  Tips on things to avoid such as double counting will also be discussed.

On March 20th of this year, ASQ announced several changes to the Recertification Process.  Changes affect Meetings, Committees, Certifications, Exam Proctoring and Publishing.  Adam will cover all changes and their potential impact.  A copy of the new Recertification Journal will be given to each attendee.

Speaker Biography:  Mr. Adam J. Shirvinski

Mr. Shirvinski has over 45 Years in Quality including the following:
US Coast Guard � Director Quality Assurance Program, Project Manager WMEC 270 Ship building, etc.
EER Systems � Group QA Mgr, USCG C-130 APS 137 Radar Install, USN MH-53 Flight S/W Dev & Nav/Comm Sys Int, USMC CH-53 FLAIR Install, Conesetoga Rocket Launch, etc.
SENTEL Corp � Air/Space Div QA/CM Mgr, FAA Differential GPS Test Bed.
EDS � QA Mgr INS Enforcement Div S/W Dev, Army National Guard Distance Learning Classrooms and Guard Net XXI, and VA Electronic Medical Records.
Intellidyne � QA/CM Mgr TRICARE Management Computer Systems and Network.
Northrop Grumman � QA/CM Mgr Grants. Gov (Won FOSE Award in 2004 and 2005).  Performance metrics for CMMI Level 5.
Mr. Shirvinski has been a member of the ASQ since 1984 and held many board positions. His current certifications include ASQ: CQE, CRE, CSQE, CSSBB.
