Presentation Description: It is no surprise that in these unprecedented times, government and business leaders are looking for fast solutions to complex problems. Changes in the business, economic and political environments are coming rapid-fire, and even the strongest of organizations are feeling operational and strategic pain. How does an organization survive, prosper even, facing the challenges of this pace? How can we increase our speed and agility without exhausting precious resources? Can we ride out the storm while increasing our readiness to grow when the time comes?

Join us for a discussion of different cases where Lean, Six Sigma, and other Process Improvement methodologies and tools have been used successfully or unsuccessfully in challenging times.

Speaker Biography: Ms. Roberts is a Senior Member of ASQ and currently serves as the Chair for ASQ Section 509, Washington DC and Maryland Metro.

As a Senior Business Consultant and Master Black Belt at NOVACES, she supports the LSS/CPI deployment at a Department of Defense Agency. Ms. Roberts holds ASQ certifications as a CSSBB, CMQ/OE and CQA.
