What does a CIO have to do with QA? In some offices, the CIO is responsible for the official QA functions, but other CIOs would state they have nothing to do with QA. As a CIO, I contend that a good CIO touches every aspect of QA, either formally or informally. This talk will discuss my perception of how a CIO impacts the quality aspects of a company beyond the generally accepted formal QA functions.
