Program Summary:
Today many industries outside the automotive industry are engaging in what they dub "Lean Manufacturing implementation". Examples include the healthcare industry, government, and the construction industry. However, true to form, in most instances these efforts accomplish pockets of success, with rare instances of enterprise-wide transformation. Unfortunately, even organizations, which provide expertise in accomplishing such transformations often do not get the strategic implications of Lean and rarely are able to diffuse Lean philosophy into the bloodstream of the business. Join me as we discuss these issues and more when we review "A New Approach to an Old Methodology".
