Mr. Eugene Kirsch will share a revised perspective on CMMI vs. ISO 9001:2000.  Capability Maturity Model-Integrated is the current Software Engineering Institute (SEI) model for process management/process improvement. There has been renewed interest by industry to understand the compatibilities and differences of CMMI and ISO 9001. Both SEI and the TAG to ISO are using these comparisons to surface improvement opportunities for future versions of the model/standard. Additionally, He will share a sneak preview into key changes being proposed for ISO 9001:2008. Additionally, we will hear about the upcoming go live for the sections new website.

The meeting will start at 5:30 pm. Attendees are also invited to participate in the free pizza and soft drink networking portion of the meeting.
