Joint Design and Construction Quality Meeting of Amercian Society for Quality, American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Transportation Research Board

Date and Time: Wednesday, January 25, 2012; 6:00 to 8:00 PM

Who May Attend:  Anyone who is interested.  Bring your ideas.

Food and Drink:  The ASQ Design and Construction Division will kick in a nominal amount for drinks and snacks.

Agenda: The intent is to try to have a joint meeting of various groups that are involved in design and construction quality.  These groups are primarily, but not limited to, the ASQ Design and Construction Division, the ASCE Construction Institute, and the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Design and Construction Group.  We�re hoping to take advantage of the number of people who will be attending the Annual TRB Meeting that are involved with one or more of these groups, or members who live in the DC Metro area, or just practitioners who have an interest in this issue.

(Note:  Registration for the Annual Transportation Research Board Meeting, normally $915, is FREE to employees of sponsoring organizations, which is almost all of the Federal Government, plus a few non-profit transportation associations.  http://www.trb.org/Finance/Sponsors.aspx  The entire TRB meeting could provide an attendee with several ASQ Recertification Units)
