SPEAKER BIO:

Jim Bowie is a Strategic Performance Improvement Expert with more than 18 years of experience leading efforts in diverse environments and industries around the world including Federal, Corporate, and Non-Profit organizations.  He is known for his hands-on approach and dynamic, passionate delivery.  He is the President and CEO of ROXTAR, Inc. (www.roxtarinc.com), the source of cutting-edge performance improvement training and consulting.

Jim delivers a results-driven, integrated, and focused approach through �top-down� strategic deployment and �bottom-up� execution. He is innovative in the design and implementation of solutions in manufacturing, service, administrative, transactional, and military operations. Mr. Bowie has managed thousands of personnel and hundreds of projects in dynamic environments around the world.

He is a former United States Army Infantry Officer and an Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran, holds a Master of Business Administration, is Kaplan & Norton Balanced Scorecard Certified, a Certified Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belt (including American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Six Sigma Black Belt), an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, a Certified Lean Master, a Certified Project Management Professional, an ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor, and a certified facilitator. Jim is a Senior Member of ASQ and a member of the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative, the Execution Premium Community, and the International Society of Six Sigma Practitioners (ISSSP).  His expertise was also recognized as he was selected to serve as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (2010 and 2011).  Jim�s educational track has included Salisbury University, Villanova University, University of Tennessee, Yale School of Management, University of Michigan, Auburn University, Georgia Tech, and he is currently pursuing his Ph.D.
