“Using Statistical Methods to Improve Biomedical Quality”

Quality in the biomedical industry requires knowledge of quality tools and regulatory implications. This talk will concentrate on the efforts of the Biomedical Division of ASQ and how basic quality tools are applied to the quality improvement efforts.  It applies to in-vitro diagnostics, software that controls a medical device, implantable and non-implantable devices.  The agenda for the talk includes background on the biomedical division, regulatory documents that apply to the industry, process validation and quality tools applied to the industry.
