Often organizations adapt a quick and infrequent management review process. This can be lengthy, cumbersome, and often results in reactive management and can prohibit a true adoption of quality and process. A well thought out schedule and plan for management review provides the ability to be proactive, capture valuable metrics, and understand trends without negatively impacting day-to-day responsibilities. A strong management review process will drive continual improvement, reduce inefficiencies, improve customer satisfaction, and ultimately increase revenue growth.
Ms. Beth Leonard is the Corporate Quality Assurance Director for Digital Management, Inc. (DMI), one of the fastest growing Government contractors in Washington, DC and recently ranked #37 of the Fast 50 firms in Washington Technology. Beth has over 16 years of quality assurance and process improvement experience across the government contracting industry. In conjunction, she has previously held positions in the areas of program/project management, proposal management, operations/help desk, and all support functions within the software development lifecycle. Her depth and breadth of knowledge enables her to implement realistic best practices not only at the project level, but across organizations for management and corporate support.
Currently, Beth is responsible for DMIís corporate quality program Ė DMIís Quality Center of Excellence (QCoE). The QCoE is responsible for maintaining Quality and Process programs, aligned to certifications such as ISO 9001:2008, ISO 20000-1:2005, ISO 27000:2008, and CMMI for Development at Maturity Level 3. Additionally, under Bethís direction, the QCoE implements other process best practices as well as a standard corporate customer satisfaction program to ensure DMIís goals and objectives for quality excellence is maintained and even exceeded.
