Meeting:

This is a joint meeting of the ASQ Baltimore Section and the Maryland Performance Excellence Foundation (MPEF), during which this year’s Maryland Performance Excellence Awards will be presented. The MPEA winner will share with us how utilizing the Baldrige criteria assisted them on their mission for excellence. In addition, we will hear from Harry Hertz, the Director of the National Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.

Southern Management Corporation received the 2011 Maryland Performance Excellence Platinum Award. Southern Management is the largest property management company in the Mid-Atlantic region, comprised of approximately 25,000 apartments, and 1,500,000 square feet of office/commercial space in the Maryland and Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC, and the Baltimore region.

FDA’s journey to excellence will be outlined.

From 695 South (Glen Burnie) take Exit 8. Make a right off the exit ramp, a right at the traffic light onto Nursery Land, and a right at the traffic light onto N. Hammonds Ferry Rd. Snyder's will be on your immediate right just past the next traffic light.From 695 North (Towson) take Exit 8. At the end of the exit ramp make a right onto N. Hammonds Ferry Rd. Snyder's will be immediately on your right.

Advance registration is required for dinner. No charge without dinner. See RSVP below. Cost $20 (members) / $30 (non-members) -- Cash or checks written to ASQ Baltimore accepted. No credit/debit cards accepted.
