Program Summary:

The presentation and round table discussion will start with a definition of Lean Six Sigma and how it is used in process improvement projects. We will then discuss how LSS can be integrated into an organization�s Quality Management System. Finally, we will explore how an institutionalized LSS program can be used to demonstrate compliance with ISO 9000 process improvement requirements.

 

Biography: Ms. Cathy Oliveri

 

Cathy Oliveri is an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQOE), Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB). She has over twenty five years of professional experience in software development and architecture, software quality, program management, and Lean Six Sigma process improvement. At Lockheed Martin Transportation and Security Solutions, she regularly participated in ISO 9000 audits, was the CMMI Level 5 Lead, and was a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lead Instructor.  At the Transportation Security Administration, she was the Program Manager, Contract Officer�s Representative, and Lead Master Black Belt for the newly launched TSA Office of Security Operations Lean Six Sigma Training and Consulting program.
