Markus has an accomplished background in sales and operational management, process improvement methodologies, consulting operations and auditing services. Markus is VP of Quality Standards and Performance for Integration Technologies Group (ITG) and since 2010 his area of responsibilities include the marketing, sales, operational management and technical support to ensure the successful completion of projects related to ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 13485, and CMMI for Development and Services. During the last three years Markus� team has successfully completed the implementation of over 50 unique projects within the manufacturing and services sectors.
Prior to ITG Markus spent a cumulative total of 9 years working for a leading ISO registrar. During his time at the ISO registrar Markus worked in a variety of roles that included management of internal and external training offerings, customer service management, planning and logistics management and sales management. Markus helped to support hundreds of customers across different verticals achieve their ISO registration objectives. In addition to performance improvement related work experience Markus has spent time in environmental compliance auditing, international procurement, and IT related partner management.
Markus has completed a wide variety of process improvement related coursework including ISO 9001, ISO 20000, OHSAS 18001 lead auditor, Holistic Information Security Practitioner, ITIL V2 Foundations, and Intro to CMMI Services and Development which are drawn upon in the fulfillment of current duties.
The application of standards are an important driver in adopting quality and process to establish best practices, gain repeatability, and set measurable objectives in order to monitor and improve performance. The Federal government relies on contractors to deliver services and products. As such, it is common that certifications or credentials are required in order to respond to procurements. This presentation provides an overview of recent trends and which standards or frameworks are useful depending on the type of organization seeking best practices to adopt for continual improvement and increasing opportunities for revenue growth.
