Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Refresher Course  

ASQ Section 509 is pleased to offer a refresher course for quality professionals who want to prepare for the Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Certification Exam administered semiannually by the American Society for Quality.  The course will review areas of the CMQ/OE Body of Knowledge.  Students will be given sample exam questions to help identify topic areas of concentration in preparation for the exam. The course will review levels of cognition and their use in defining the intended complexity of multiple choice test questions.

Location: Montgomery College, Rockville MD Campus, 51 Mannakee Street, Rockville MD 20850

Campus Location: South Instructional Building, Classroom to be announced.

Time: Saturday mornings from 8am to Noon. 

Dates: Course will run 6 weeks from August 24 � September 28. Actual dates: August 24, 31, September 7, 14, 21, 28.

Mr. Scanlon is a recently elected Fellow Member of ASQ with over 40 years of experience in quality management. He has held quality-related positions with Caterpillar, Inc., Southern Pacific Railroad, the United States Postal Service, and the Transportation Security Administration. He is currently the Manager for Performance Management for the Transportation Security Administration. He holds ASQ Certifications as a Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Quality Manager, and Six Sigma Black Belt. He has also served as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for 14 years.
