32nd annual SPQA Virginia Forum for Excellence  

ASQ is a partner in the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program and ASQ Section 1104 is a sponsor for this year�s 32nd annual SPQA Virginia Forum for Excellence (VFE), the Commonwealths premier quality event.   SPQA administers the Baldrige based U.S. Senate Productivity and Quality Awards for Virginia and the District of Columbia.

The 2014 VFE will be held on September 15 and 16 at the Doubletree Midlothian-Richmond Hotel located at 1021 Koger Center Blvd. in Richmond.  

On September 15, the event features three pre-Forum courses including a half-day course on innovation taught by Jane Keathley, ASQ Section 1108 member and co-author of The Executive Guide to Innovation (ASQ Quality Press).  

On September 16, there are 12 workshops and two keynote speakers, John Timmerman, ASQ�s immediate Past President and currently the Gallup Organization�s Senior Strategist in Customer Experience and Innovation and Laurens Sartoris, immediate Past President of the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association. 

There are five SPQA award recipients this year representing the education, healthcare and nonprofit industry sectors.   Attend the Virginia Forum for Excellence and meet Past ASQ President John Timmerman, discuss innovation with Jane Keathley, meet the SPQA Award recipients and network with other individuals interested in the pursuit of performance excellence.
