AFNOR
AFNOR (Association française de normalisation) is a state-approved organization, placed under the
supervision of the Ministry for Industry. Its mission is to pilot and coordinate the preparation of standards, represent and defend French interests within all standardization bodies, approve standards, promote and facilitate the use of standards, and develop NF certification and products, services and systems certification.

European Foundation for Quality Management
The European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) was founded in 1988 by the Presidents of 14 major European companies, with the endorsement of the European Commission. The present membership is in excess of 600 organisations ranging from major multinationals and important national companies to research institutes in prominent European universities.
Euromet
EUROMET is a cooperative organisation between the national metrological organisations in the EU and EFTA states and the European Commission. The participating metrology institutes intend to collaborate in EUROMET, with the objective of promoting the co-ordination of metrological activities and services with the purpose of achieving higher efficiency.
European Organization for Quality
The European Organization for Quality is an autonomous, non-profit making association under Belgian law. It was established in 1956 and its present membership is comprised of 34 national European quality organizations, as well as institutions, companies, and individuals from all over the world.

Euroqual
The interuniversity center EUROQUAL has been created with the support of many companies (La Genevoise Assurances, Logitech, Nestlé, Manufactures des Montres Rolex, Chaillot Bouchons, Swisscontrol …). It is in charge of managing and coordinating a high level teaching in quality management with the help of numerous Swiss and foreign universities.

International Laboratory Accreditation Congress
ILAC is an international cooperation between the various laboratory accreditation schemes operated throughout the world. Founded twenty years ago, ILAC was formalised as a cooperation in 1996 when 44 national bodies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Amsterdam.

South African Bureau of Standards
The SABS is South Africa's official body for the preparation and publication of standards, and it is a statutory organisation, governed by Act 29 of 1993. It renders important services to goverment, trade, industry and the consumer in order to achieve its stated aims: strengthening the South African economy, and enhancing the quality of life of all South Africans by promoting quality and standardisation.
Standards Council of Canada
The Standards Council has the mandate to coordinate and oversee the efforts of the National Standards System, which includes organizations and individuals involved in voluntary standards development, promotion and implementation in Canada. Located in Ottawa, the Standards Council has a 15-member governing Council and a staff of approximately 70. The organization reports to Parliament through the Minister of Industry.
Turkish Standards Institute
The Turkish Standards Institution initiated the conformity to standards certification with the TSE Mark System launched in 1964, with a view to inculcating among the producers the consciousness of conformant goods, protecting the life and property of the consumers facilitating the comparison and selection in purchases and avoiding unfair trade practices.
